Andrew Wood

An accountant for over 25 years, spending most of his early career at Townends, a medium sized firm at their Pontefract Office. Once he qualified in 2000 and obtained his practicing certificate he was keen to put his experience into practice with his own firm, founding Equate in 2003. Since then, he has built a strong and varied portfolio. Andrew assists client's to ensure they are optimising their tax position whilst innovating and realising their goals.

Claire Wood

Claire has been in the accounting profession for nearly 20 years, qualifying at Mazars, before joining Equate in 2007. Claire has a wealth of experience in acting for charities, along with an excellent grasp of many business types and structures. Claire spends much of her time visiting clients helping them assess their results and plan for the future, making cost-effective recommendations along the way.
